My first opinions of the site:
The positives:
So, it is much like the old dA. A toned down environment. Fairly easy to navigate. Offers a selection of themes, although I am not happy with any of them. Over all the atmosphere is nice. An easy browse with some nice music, kind of a coffee house style... The question I have is why "storm artists?" It is a completely acceptable name, just confused by it. It is group friendly.
The negatives:
Poor default avatar. Header links are in poor placement. It is not a common practice to put the links on the right side of the header do to browser size differences. So that is a no no.(Corrected by badfurday) Only compatable with one browser is also kind of a bummer, although I rarely use anything other then firefox. (I retract that as well, after i found the faq, and read it.) And I have yet to find the FAQ I found it, opps.
So will i use this over dA? I don't know. dA is more evolved, however I frown upon their lack of focus on "the art" of it all.
